Churches bombed – Where is Utusan?

By Eyes Wide Open

It’s finally happened.

After all the innuendoes and not-so-subtle threats about terrible retaliation to supposed attacks on Malays by non-Malays, something finally happened.

At least 3 churches were attacked, and one of them was completely gutted by fire.

Besides the online media, the Chinese MSM were the fastest with the story with several publishing the story raw in their morning editions. The English media were a little behind – only managing to publish the news online at about lunchtime and mainly quoting 1Politicians’ condemnation of such attacks.

Their Main page is offline. But if you directly access their Berita Utama page, you will see their news items for the day.

One would have thought that a paper who had been inciting religious and racial intolerance for so long would have a response. Surely they would want to say something about the fruits of their labour!

But there was nothing.

No gloating op-ed. No reporting of 1Politicians condemnations. Not even a…**GASP**…”neutral” news report!

It’s as if the most significantly disgusting attacks in modern Malaysian history never happened at all.

It’s funny because since March 2008, they have gone into overdrive in their incitements, even roping in the Chinese Dr Ridhuan Tee to condemn his own race and and justify the ultra-Malay doctrines being promoted by the UMNO mouthpiece.

Well, I say that Utusan has to assume some responsibility for these attacks. For years they have been poisoning the minds of Malays in this country. We can now see the results of the kind of intolerance promoted by them. Luckily no one died. But who knows what might happen in future if they  continue to incite hatred and intolerance with impunity, protected by their political masters?

What say you Utusan? Awang Selamat? Ridhuan Tee? You played with fire and now at least 3 churches have been fire bombed.

Why so quiet?

Speak up and answer to the Malaysian rakyat for your actions!

Easy. When fruits of their labour finally comes to fruition, their ball shrink and had to be hospitalized for becoming pussies. So no one is able to update the page!

The actual scenario could be like this:

    1. First phase: Provocation by the media
    2. Second Phase: Provocation by burning some churches
    3. Third Phase: Provocation by hurling nasty words via street demonstations
4.Fourth Phase:Provocation probably causing bodily injury like Taman Medan incidents
5.Fifth Phase: The government move in on pretext to maintain security arrests some people and probably including the oppositions and declare some form of emergency and take over the civil liberty.
6.Final Phase: BN win People lost!

Never mind the local news, as long the whole world knows what is going in Malaysia, it is good enough the plight of the minorities under the racist UMNO rule. CNN, BBC, MSN, yahoo, google, one of the hottest headlines in the world right now, WELCOME to MALAYSIA!!!

MALAYSIA = KOSOVO, if the PM doesn’t take any action, maybe it is best the UN send a peacekeeping force over here soon.

  6. Katharina Sri (former: Noor Aza) says:

This has never happened in Malaysian history. I suspect that this is due to the infiltration and influence by Al-Qaeda kind of Islam and Muslim footsoldiers, especially from the Pakistani, Afghanistan and Bangladesh nationalities. They are really trying to control oil-rich Malaysia and Indonesia as their South-East Asia’s base. Imagine – where do they get the bomb from? Further, these foreign fanatics are brainwashing our young through infiltrating mosques, Muslim NGOs, universities, schools and so on – thus the increasing irrational hatred towards non-Muslims! Intelligence network by the Home security need to be recruited among the young Malaysians and placed in this strategic places.

My friend went to the church in Desa Melawati and found out that some of his old old friends were members of the Church. According to them, the last batch of people to leave the Church was a group of girls who were practicing choir. They left around 11pm. Had they stuck around longer, God only knows what would have happened. Let’s be thankful that no lives were lost.

  8. Lin Chor Mah says:

In the first instance, the Utusan writers and editors are all COWARDS. They incite but have no ball to take responsibility. Second, they have got no brain which is why they can only work for Utusan. No one who has brain and moral fire will work for Utusan, the government’s mouthpiece. Third, they aren’t Muslim but the servants of the devil. They have sold their soul the day they work for Utusan.

  9. Sohadis Musidi says:

It all started from the name ‘Allah’ issue. It is up to everybody to say ‘Allah’ regardless their religion as long as they reffer to the correct GOD. To Muslim Allah is the God who created and manages human and the whole univers. Allah appoints many prophets begin with Adam pbuh and end with Muhammad pbuh. Adam has been created alone without mother nor father. Jesus has been created with mother without father, whereas Muhammad is been created with parent. Adam and Muhammad has family and children as a model to parents, Jesus has no family nor children. Do christian reffer to the same Allah?. To christians Allah might be referred to Jesus as God’s son. To them he is already dead which means no more Allah. Since in the beginning the christians has been tought that Jesus as God. Let it be. Be consistance in the relegion teaching. As we are aware bilbe has gone through a lot of alteration just for the missionary strategic. It will not work.

    • Sohadis Musidi

“Do christian refer to the same Allah?”

Have you done ANY research at all as to the origins of the word Allah? If you haven’t, read my blog here:

I have done quite a bit of research about it. Please don’t be too lazy to read a bit and get some knowledge. Islam is supposed to be the religion of enlightenent and knowledge – don’t bisgrace your religion by refusing to be knowledgeable.

If you still believe that Allah only belongs to Muslims, why don’t you find some Arab Muslims and ask their opinion?

“To them he is already dead”

This is a lie. The Apostle Paul, the first century missionary said: “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

The death and ressurrection of Christ is the central doctrine of true Christian faith.

“As we are aware bilbe has gone through a lot of alteration just for the missionary strategic.”

This is a lie. If you bothered to do your research, you would know that the Bible is probably the most meticulously preserved book in the world that has hardly changed in all its 3000+ years history.

This is the danger of all these officially-controlled religion – they only let you believe what they want you to believe.

  10. HSC says:

Sohadis Musidi evidently has no idea what he is talking about. He was probably blindly quoting Dr M who was implying that Christians made the statement God is dead. The statement was actually made by a western philosopher who was an atheist. Not all westerners are Christians. To the Christians, God is very much alive and is the source of life!

  11. Peter says:

Sohadis is really ignorant. He is definitely a product of UMNO’s propaganda.
Yes, he was trying to poke fun at the statement “God is dead”
TDM thought that he was very intelligent when he said that if Allah is used in USA as a substituted for God, it will hurt the Muslims. That I strongly agree. We must have respect for other’s religion.
But TDM forgot to xplain how the same statement is said in Arabic?
    The joke is on him.
Utusan, I must ‘congratulate’ the staffs for having attained this goals. They almost turned the whole nation into a conflagration

Just to clarify: Star came out with the story on the 12.30am attack on the Metro Tabernacle in the Klang Valley edition of the Friday’s paper.

    Please don’t blatantly mislead
To be free from any quilt of misdeed
Let’s get involved only in the right mission
    To avoid any misplaced vision

Let us all only the right motives aspire
With solely pure thoughts we must desire
May we burn strictly with God’s spiritual fire
Before any reformation and transformation expire

There is this chinese saying “Yan yau hai nei kwai yau hai nei” it means “Front as a man but devil at the back” This is similar to the may13 incident. The devil and the man is of the same person.
