Flotilla redux: Earlier clash at Egypt border, Egyptian soldier killed

IHH pix: The riot squad are Egyptian soldiers poised for confrontation with pro-Palestinian activists

Excerpt:

“Still not convinced that the Turkish violence [250 Turks] aboard the Mavi Marmara was premeditated?

“Check out this comparison of the flotilla incident with clashes that broke out between members of George Galloway’s Lifeline 3 aid convoy with Egyptian security forces last January. That’s when members of Viva Palestina clashed with Egyptian security forces over restrictions on humanitarian aid being delivered overland.

“One Egyptian soldier was killed [IHH activists took seven Egyptian soldiers captive], some 50 activists were injured and Galloway was ignobly deported.”

See story just out, in ‘Honest reporting’.

So what did you expect Israel to do? Like Eygpt, have her soldiers killed and taken captive by ‘peace activists’ whom Mahathir said [sarcastically implied] were armed with pencils?

  1. Prem Das says:

In Islam’s early battles, it is the boast that a small Islamic force was able to soundly beat a much larger army of the anti-Islamists, with the inference being with ‘God’s help’.

In the present day conflict it is a small nation of roughly six million people who seem to have the upper hand against nations with populations many hundreds of millions with fabulous wealth from oil to boot.

The question must be asked “Has GOD changed sides ?”
