Did Mahathir ask the Saatchi family if they were Zionists before hiring them?

Yesterday our blog carried a write-up by Maz – a regular Hartal reader and commentator on Rebutting Mahathir, the ‘proud to be anti-Semitic’ hypocrite. Here Maz explains why it is necessary to call Mahathir’s bluff when the old hypocrite tries to obscure his Jew-hate by hiding behind the terminology ‘Zionist’.

In a reader comment to our posting yesterday, Major (Rtd) D.Swami saw through the rose-by-any-other-name charade played by Malaysia’s Jew haters:

The new anti antisemitism is known as anti Zionists. What is the difference, I am not anti Jew but I am anti Zionist, get my drift?

By Maz

Mahathir is getting away with far too much BS on Malaysiakini and elsewhere because the rebuttals are largely limited to criticizing Mahathir’s performance as an ex-PM or his views on Malaysia’s NEP and the like.

Little space is given to direct and unambiguous refutation of Mahathir’s racist and anti-Semitic rantings. Far too many Malaysians excuse this as merely a side-effect of his dictatorial tendencies. NO!

It is part and parcel of who he is, what he is, and why he mismanaged Malaysia for 22 years and why he and organizations like Perkasa continue to exert a deleterious impact on Malaysia that is harmful towards ALL aspects of Malaysia’s well-being.

This Apco nonsense makes out Malaysians to be fools (not just Mahathir, Jibby and Anwar) because they do not understand global management organizations who manage campaigns for 30-40 nations at one time.

Uneducated Malaysians conflate Apco’s lobbying for Israel (which they probably did) with lobbying for Malaysia, Turkey, Nigeria,

Brazil and probably 60 other countries that Apco contracted out PR sub firms to work on. Of course lobbying firms use similar templates for their PR campaigns, DUH!!! It’s called ‘the bottom line and saving money and best management practices’.

That has nothing whatsoever to do with ideology and everything to do with business. Just like Mahathir hiring Saatchi & Saatchi (the UK PR firm founded by British-Iraqi Jews) to run some of his PR back in the 1980s.

I wonder if Mahathir asked the Saatchi family if they were Zionists before he hired them? Or given his hatred for the former colonialists [the British], why didn’t he pick a Dubai or Indian PR firm instead?

I do not hear Malaysians complaining about how Apco also worked on Erdogan’s PR campaign in Turkey or Muhammad Abdo’s in Nigeria (could it be because the clients aren’t Jews?).

Malaysians must stop being ignorant about facts.

Are we surprise why Malays are becoming more blind fools when we have Malay leaders like this?! Below are my censored comments at Dr. Dzul here today, at http://www.malaysiakini.com/v6/link.php?http%3A%2F%2Fblog.drdzul.com%2F2010%2F12%2F27%2Fkeadilan-islam-selamatkan-melayu-bukan-%25e2%2580%2598ketuanan-melayu%25e2%2580%2599-kata-asri%2F

So, Dr…, you don’t like to publish the truths do you?! No wonder many Malays are becoming blind fools like you; aping the Arabs – I’m Malay by the way!

Hartal MSM: Katharina, You’d have already guessed beforehand that Dr Dzul wouldn’t publish your comment just as similarly we’re unable to publish it, for the obvious reasons.

However, we do have a proposition for you: Send us your thoughts via e-mail to hartalmsm@gmail.com and we’ll try our best to support your writing (e.g. like Maz’s that we’ve been publishing the last couple of days).

We can all always try to push the envelope but it doesn’t have to be the full frontal assault and trying to topple entrenched edifices in one fell swoop. There are other ways in other (side) topics through which to shine the light. Think in terms of what is doable & what is say-able in the present Malaysian environment.

Thanks Hartal for taking the time to explain; and for your ever brilliant hard work in standing up bravely to the ‘mighty’ evilness (but the true God is always mightier; they seemed to forget!). But I think Dr. Dzul has different agenda for censoring my comment – we can guess why. Anyway, I usually publish my frank criticism of Islam in Jihad Watch (US), founded by the ever brilliant scholar, Robert Spencer.

I’d rather think most institutions in Malaysia would not be quite sure what
to do with Katharina. She doesn’t fit any of the Perkasa-style ‘molds’ of what
a proper Muslim Malay (woman) should be. Fortunately, I suspect that is not a
problem where Katharina lives (Richtig ja Katharina ?)..

I will be honest myself Katharina…I respect you and your indepedence but
even I have been so socialised to equate ‘Malayness’ and Islam (even if
it is a nominal secular Malay version of Islam) at the gut level I sometimes find
myself mystified by your ‘epiphany’ and your strong defense of your Lord…I am
still of two-minds about this…give me time please…
