Ridhuan Tee — kinda scary, truly!

This is a follow-up to our previous posting Nazi-uan Tee Strikes Again!
Why do we say that Ridhuan is scary?
To give you a clearer picture, here’s a brief explanation of the features of our blog dashboard. Hartal uses WordPress.
As blog administrators, we know a few things. For example, we know that Malaysiakini, Malaysia Today and Free Malaysia Today sometimes refer readers to us, as do Haris Ibrahim, Zorro, Margeemar, etc.
We also know what search engine terms lead readers to our blog. For example, in the last couple of days, many Malaysians were Googling ‘Teo Nie Ching’.
What’s scary though is the number of keyword searches in Malay (which land the Googlers on our blog) on ‘kata-kata Hitler’, ‘Yahudi’ (Jews) and around the theme of ‘Saya boleh bunuh semua Yahudi ketika saya berkuasa. Tetapi saya tinggalkan sedikit kepada kamu. Kenapa?’
There is a macabre interest, if not fascination, among the Malay readership along the line of thought as expressed by Ridhuan below. It’s scary that Ridhuan’s clinical and callous attitude towards the extermination of the Jews finds so many echoes in the Malay keywords and phrases typed into search engines (a pattern we can make out from visitors coming to Hartal as a result of those Malay search results).
“Hitler who is said to be cruel and tyrannical nonetheless still did a service in his time. At the very least, Hitler reminded and made us realize who the Jews really were. Do we recall what Hitler’s words were in Mein Kampf on why he acted to exterminate the Jews? He said: ‘I could have killed all the Jew whilst I was in power. But I leave some to you. Why? So that you will know who the Jews are, and look for the answer as to why I kill Jews’.”
The truly scary bit is that Ridhuan Tee sees in almost the same Hitlerian frame how Chinese in Malaysia are a similar menace .
