PAS & Perkasa say no fun for the wicked

Pix borrowed from ‘Malaysian Insider’ story ‘Ansari falls into the sea… again

We took a week’s R & R but we’re back! With the all too many things happening politically, we needed to chill. Like Ansari Abdullah. But we didn’t go skinny dipping lah. “No fun, please”, we’re Malaysians.

If PAS had their way, we wouldn’t have any entertainment at all, only the  sort of relaxation they’re willing to stamp Halal for us. While it’s par for the course with the PAS guys, who would have thought that Mr Tall Songkok (whom we hear is ‘fun-loving’) would be hand-in-glove with the conservatives?

Perkasa ‘clubs’ clubbing idea

Right-wing Malay NGO Perkasa has joined PAS in slamming Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak’s idea to turn Malaysia into an ‘nightlife entertainment’ hub.

“Perkasa is totally against it. Malaysia is a country that upholds Islamic values and we have to focus on these values,” said Perkasa Youth chief Arman Azhar Abu Hanifah.

The plan to transform Malaysia into a ‘nightlife entertainment’ centre is detailed in the PM’s Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
