May the Banks have mercy on MPSJ business operators

A very hot topic of discussion now at the hugely popular Lowyat forum:

“So new guidelines in Subang Jaya doesn’t allow alcohol serving outlets to hire our fellow Muslims. What do you think? I think this only applies to restaurants, pubs & entertainment outlets, but what about shops like [7-Eleven], Giant, Carrefour, Tesco etc that also sell alcohol drinks?”

The story:

“The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has introduced a new licensing guideline that bans establishments that serve alcohol from employing Muslims.”

Wah lau! The reformists are doing away with the quotas protecting Malays. More job opportunities for non-Malays in Subang Jaya. Waaaay to go, Hannah!!

On MPSJ barring Muslims, the MSM POV from WCW.

Wong Chun Wai tweeted:

Any beer factories located within MPSJ jurisdiction? Surely got many Muslim workers? @CKGord @tilianker

Views from the public exchanges going on at Ti Lian Ker’s (MCA man):

“@LindaZahari PR playing politics all the time…even religious principles will be manipulated by them for politics…inconsistency!”

PR playing politics with religion is what this blog has been warning about; see our ‘Dewan Ulama next for DAP?’

Since the middle of last year, we’ve been highlighting this trend of politicking Islam by Pakatan (bagi Umno, biasalah dari dulu-dulu lagi), click on poster to read story.

The Subang Jaya state assemblyman is DAP’s Hannah Yeoh – no comment from her on this as yet.

Loh Gwo Burne is the MP for Kelana Jaya (the Parliamentary constituency for Subang Jaya) and the neighbouring Subang MP is Sivarasa Rasiah – both from PKR.

This Islamisation clampdown is happening under the Pakatan government of Selangor in a totally Pakatan-controlled district.

For another current example of the Pakatan zip lock, listen to Dr Lim Teck Ghee’s podcast or read his writings on the History syllabus sodomy, see our posting yesterday.

We don’t expect PAS to say anything about all this going on as they’re an Islamist party. Anwar is Abim but what about the multi-racial leaders of PKR?

The biggest betrayal of all in their loud silence is the no-beer, no-balls DAP — the so-called secular party.

He’s a man of many talents Maz. Few of them useful.

And I believe he was a Center. His dad got him the job so being vertically challenged was not an issue. 🙂
